For the last 20 years I have been in the fortunate position to be able to create and evolve my business and share this journey with you, and for this I am incredibly grateful, so firstly, thank you for your support over the years, it means a lot to me.
All brands, regardless of size, are going through their own challenges and these unprecedented times have put a strain on the business. I’m doing my best to navigate through the uncertainty and make decisions to ensure the health and wellbeing of my team, my partners, and my company.
We have a lot of worldwide retail partners, many of whom have had to shutter their doors during this crisis causing them financial strain. As a consequence, they have been unable to accept stock which has already been produced. We are adamant that we continue to support our producers, who are part of the Markus Lupfer family, so we have honoured our orders and accepted the stock for our online business. This leaves us with an excess, which frankly we had not anticipated, so we are therefore offering promotional discounts on our website, outside of the usual sale periods, for our loyal customers to have first access to.
This is an unusual step for us. We believe that the price of our clothing reflects the quality of detailed craftsmanship and the degree of care and attention dedicated to each piece. However, unusual times call for unusual measures. We will continue to do this until this is over and we can all leave our homes.
I appreciate you may not be in the mood to shop right now; we are looking at other ways to support and bring joy to our community. If you do choose to shop, your continued support is appreciated by myself and my team.
HOW WE'RE RESPONDING TO COVID-19
We want to reassure you that the health and safety of our staff, partners, and customers, is paramount and therefore we have been listening and adapting to guidance from the Government and Public Health England. We are in constant contact with our partners who are operating with appropriate precautions and health and safety guidance, and have implemented remote working for our head office team in-line with current recommendations.
Our online store remains open and online orders are shipping as normal. Our Customer Care team remains available for advice and enquiries via email at email@example.com. Please do allow a little extra time for responses, deliveries and returns as we adapt, we will continue to keep you appraised and updated.
We understand during these uncertain times that you may want to find alternative methods for returns so have extended our returns policy to 28 days. For UK customers please drop us an email if you wish to use your own method of return instead of our subsidised Royal Mail service.
